Well, it's weird to think we're already a month in. Didn't we just find out we're pregnant? I guess, yeah, we did. I was only a week and a half ago.
I had two glorious days this week of virtually no symptoms. For the most part though, just more of being very tired. Paul's been amazing about helping me out when I'm so tired I can't move. I couldn't ask for a better hubby! It feels like morning sickness may be starting as I'm queasy a lot. It's pretty easy to keep it at bay by eating a cracker. Hopefully, this is as bad as it gets. Knowing me though, there's no chance!
There's a lot going on with Baby Winn. Facial features are beginning to form, the aorta began forming and the heart should be beating! Also, Baby's smart cookie little brain has begun to grow. Paul and I have a book that tells us what is happening each day. We may be a bit off on the days right now. So, all of these changes may be a few days off. But overall, that's what's happening with the little munchkin.
It's a boy. I feel it. I bet his smart cookie little brain is already plotting out which trees he will be climbing first and is figuring out how to make a potato gun. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's two things I know.
ReplyDelete1) I've always loved girl baby clothes. All of a sudden, it's the boy clothes that are catching my eye. I just saw some adorable surf/skate clothes in Santa Cruz.
2) They say that after morning sickness is gone (so a couple months from now)women carrying boy eat more than women carrying girls. So, we'll keep an eye on my appetite :)
I'm feeling a boy, too. I can't really say why but it's just a feeling. At what stage does the gender become known?
ReplyDeleteDid Clark tell you about his name choice? Since the birthdate may be in Oct, he will share the same birth month as his ggm Doris and his ggp Harry,he could be Horis, or if a girl, Darry! Just kidding, of course. Although I think Dora the Explorer is cute.
The tiredness is amazing, isn't it? I remember sitting at my desk at work wondering if anyone would notice if I took a nap. It does get better eventually.
Thanks so much for sharing. I get so tickled thinking about that little baby!
I'm going boy too although a boy and girl (twins ) would be great! Really as long as as and the baby are healthy I'd be happy to be a grandma to a mouse like in Stuart Little. XooX
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd as should have been "you"
