Well, here goes nothing... Starting two new adventures, mommy-hood and blogging-hood. Paul is convinced that I will be able to, not only fill this blog with progress updates and our thoughts about it all, but also keep up and actually do it. We'll see, I've never been one for follow through :)
Baby Update: We think we're in about week five. We learned that by the end of this week or next, despite being the size of a sesame seed, our baby's heart will start beating! When we go in for our appointment, we might be able to hear it! As of now, our first doctor's appointment is February 15th at 11:30. It may change because I have to save as much sick time as possible. After that appointment, I'm hoping to get a due date and have a better idea of where exactly we are in development.
Mommy Update: The more pregnant I get, the more I realize this isn't all rainbows and gum drops. These pregnancy symptoms are no joke. And, according to the books, it hasn't even started yet. We'll see how I hold up. My poor students may either have to deal with a grumpy Mrs. Winn or hold my hair back. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
If you ever want to force yourself to stop eating a certain food just think of it as looking like your unborn child (ie. sesame seeds). It worked for me.
ReplyDeleteWow, so no more burgers for you? Those things are littered with sesame seeds! What are we going to do with that fresh pack of burger buns we bought?
ReplyDeleteSarah, thanks for keeping us posted occasionally. However, please don't let Paul transfer any fear of food to you, whether it resembles your child or not. You need all the nutrients you can get, even the sesame seeds and gumdrops.
ReplyDeleteOh Yeah! A baby blog!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing to think about that little sesame seed growing into a baby to love.
Take it easy on yourself and remember that each stage passes sooner or later.
Thanks for sharing the journey with us.
