Nothing much has changed on the baby front, at least for me. I'm feeling better but still have some harder days every once in a while. I'm still not really showing, unless you count bloating ;)
Baby Winn, on the other hand, has had a lot of changes since I posted last. Tomorrow we start week 16. At that point, Baby Winn is about 4.5 inches from head to rump (about the size of an advocado). You can tell from the picture below, Baby looks much more like a human now. Clark, sorry it took so long to show you a human like picture! Although Baby's eyelids aren't opeinging yet, it can react to light. They say if you shine a flashlight at my belly, the baby will move away from the light. Right now, the scalp pattern is forming and Baby is growing finger and toe nails. Over the next few weeks, Baby will double in size again!
On May 9th, we have our ultrasound to find out the sex of Baby Winn. At least for the Fosburgh family, we'll keep the secret until the "Baby Reveal Party" that weekend. I guess that's all for now!
So delighted that everything is going well. An avocado is a substantial size...and to think that baby is already that big. We can hardly wait.
ReplyDeleteLove all three of you.
Sarah, thanks for the human reference. I feel like I've graduated from my botany class and can begin taking my zoology class. I notice the baby picture references a new name: Adam. I guess that can work for either gender. Lastly, don't get too attached to the ultrasound determination. I was talking to someone recently who was told results were "girl", but it ended up being a boy (poor kid).
